To start the first loop, sting the 8 beads (4 large & 4 small) into a tight circle leaving a knot and extra thread at the end to tie off to a clasp later.
Two:
Continue with the next group looping back into the third larger bead of the first loop and the first 2 beads of the second loop.
Three:
Make another loop much like the last looping back through the two beads illustrated above.
Four:
String a small bead, large bead, small bead, then back through the third bead of the second loop.
Five:
String a small bead, large bead, and small bead. Then string through the two beads from the previous loops.
Six:
Thread through the smaller bead and larger bead of the loop you are currently in.
Seven:
Make a loop like the first you created in the pattern and continue with steps 2 - 7 until the desired length.
