Bead tips are another way to add clasps and findings to your jewelry and are best to use when stringing jewelry on string or thread rather then wire. The clamshell design of the bottom open bead tip makes for a nice finish and is illustrated below.
Two:
Thread your string through the hole in the bead tip
Three:
Knot the thread on the inside of the "clamshell"
Four:
Once knotted
Five:
Glue the knot inside the open bead tip
Six:
Close the bead tip with pliers
Seven:
Once closed
Eight:
Clip the excess string from the bead tip
Nine:
Put a clasp or finding on the loop of the bead tip
