Wire protectors are designed to protect beading wire against abrasion from metal clasps. To use, slide one end of the beading wire through a crimp and through the loops of the wire protector. Add your finding, then pass the wire through the crimp again. Use your crimping pliers to fold the crimp. Wire protectors not only help to prevent fraying but will also give your jewelry a more polished appearance by concealing the beading wire.
